The goal of the social directors is to enable you to reap one of the best benefits of being a part of the Hill County Yacht Club - being with and enjoying people who have similar interests to you. To accomplish this, we throw parties the whole family, parents and children, can enjoy.

There will be at least one club sponsored meal per month and during the summer, there will be more.  Some of these may be Pot Luck dinners, where the club provides the meat and drinks and the members bring other parts of the meal. Joy is a great cook, and me, well, I'm really great at running errands. Several of the parties are theme parties and revovle around themes - both in decor and in the food served. In addition, there are many special events planned with the Rear Commodores for Sail and Power that might include live music, Karaoke and game nights.

Whether you enjoy power boating, drifting along on a good breeze, or just being at the lake, if you haven't been to an HCYC social event yet, make plans now to attend. Come enjoy the food, fun and fellowship. See you at the lake.
