Mark the date Saturday, January 5, 2008 on your calendars for our 2008 HCYC Officer Installation Banquet. We will once again be at “Ye Kendall Inn” in Boerne. More than 100 members and guests attended last year and all had a wonderful time. We will be treated to a multi-course buffet (and cash bar) starting at 7:00 PM followed by the awards and installation program. Then, for your listening and dancing pleasure, one of our favorite bands, Texas Tide, will help us welcome our new Officers and kick off in the New Year.

Invitations will be sent out soon, but here is the “scoop”. The price this year will be $40 per person (slightly less than last year), and as we have done in the past, we ask that you make your dinner reservation through Carol Teat at carolm@satx.rr.com. To help with club cash flow, we ask that you prepay by check or by billing it to your member account. Please make your reservations with Carol by December 1st. When Carol hears from you, she will send you a confirmation email.

Also, for those of you wishing to stay at Ye Kendall Inn, they are offering all HCYC members a discounted price of $129 for either a hotel room or a cabin as available. Your room reservations can be made directly with the Inn at (800) 364-2138. The reservation with the Inn must be made by Saturday, December 8th. When you call, identify yourself as a Hill Country Yacht Club member to get the special rate.

This event is one of our best of the year and Ye Kendall Inn is a first class venue. I hope all of you can be a part of it.
