Happy Valentines Day. We hope you enjoyed the Frostbite Regatta dinner and are ready for the next yacht club event. The Executive Board spent the day on January 20 th planning the calendar and events for '07.The next event is the Valentines Dinner. It will be on February 10 th. We will continue the tradition of having a special steak dinner on this evening. To ensure you have a steak, please a reservation to Carol Teat by noon on Thursday, February 8th. The cost of the steak dinner is $5.00. Dinner will include a salad and a baked potato with all the usual toppings that make baked potatoes especially tasty. You can charge your dinner or pay the $5.00 that evening. You can reach Carol by phone at (210) 344-1081 or by email.The alternate to steak will be a boneless chicken breast that will be grilled. There is no charge for the chicken. The chicken dinner will also be accompanied by a baked potato and salad. So grab your sweetie and head down to the yacht club for a fun evening. You don't even have to dress up - Marina attire is appropriate. Besides, you can still put on your fancy duds and go out on the 14 th to celebrate a second time.In March we will have a St. Patrick's party. I'm not sure the menu at this time, but I'm sure you will not want to miss the event.
I invite each of you to help with the preparation for the party or the clean-up. Getting involved with the club activity and the work of our all volunteer club will enhance your enjoyment of the organization. So, don’t be shy and have hold back.
