I would like to thank everyone who attended our annual banquet and made it a great success. As we move through the next few months, please be aware of the events we have planned and make every effort to attend and perhaps bring some potential new members with you.
I have tentatively set a date of March 11
th to renovate and repair our storage trailer in the upper parking lot. If you happen to be around that weekend, I will need some strong backs, wood, tools and perhaps some willing assistance to take on this task. If you happen to be able to lend a hand I will certainly appreciate it. You’ll lose an hour of sleep on Sunday with the onset of daylight savings so, why not lose it at the lake?Of extreme importance is the Spring workday to sanitize and simonize our clubhouse and deck area. This year it’s on Sunday, March 18
th at 1 o’clock. That should allow enough time for recovery from the activities of the previous evening. Remember this is YOUR yacht club. Your fellow members intend to roll up their sleeves and take part in keeping our facility one of which we can all be proud. Please let me know of any concerns, or items of which you are aware that may require maintenance or repair.Most recently, Jerry Dechert replaced the rotting wood around our corner window area and it looks great. Thanks Jerry!
